The singer was just looking around in a pet store in Stratford, Canada on Thursday, but fell for a puppy named Petey, for which TMZ reports he paid $600.
Bieber also picked up food, toys and a collar for his new pooch.
In the past, Bieber had a pet hamster, which he gave to a fan, and a monkey that was seized by the German government.
