Dortmund may go shopping to replace Blaszczykowski

DORTMUND, Germany  — Borussia Dortmund may go the transfer market to compensate for the loss of midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski, who is out for the season with a knee injury.

Dortmund managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke says the Bundesliga club is "testing the market" and would not "rule out that we act" after Blaszczykowski's injury. The Poland captain tore a ligament in his right knee in Saturday's 2-2 home draw with Augsburg.
