The self-titled record (see cover art at right) features 14 tracks, plus a whopping 17 videos for a truly “visual album.”
In an announcement posted to Facebook , the singer explains why she chose to release so many songs and videos simultaneously — and without warning.
She also mention people that are among the special guests.Drake (“Mine”), Frank Ocean (“Superpower”), and even daughter Blue Ivy (“Blue”)
And her , husband Jay-Z is also featured — on a song called “Drunk in Love,” an apparent sequel to the couple’s hit “Crazy in Love.”
They join a star-filled roster of collaborators that also includes the rest of Destiny’s Child (Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland), Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell.
The videos were filmed across the globe as Beyoncé was on her “Mrs. Carter Show” world tour, with shoots in New York, Paris, Sydney and Rio de Janeiro.
The record marks Beyoncé’s fifth solo studio album, and is also available exclusively through iTunes.
